Vicente I am going to do my research project based on my grandpa, Vicente. He was an immigrant who came here in the mid-late 1900s. This picture of him struck out to me the most because I see him as the "guy who made it." He is a hardworking and loved man that brought his family to America. He faced many challenges like being there during WW2 when the Japanese invaded the Philippines to migrating to the US and facing things like the language barrier and discrimination.
